Whilst all our Investments are for fixed terms, it’s not unusual for developments to experience some sort of delays or even for them to be completed and sold ahead of schedule. If any delays are limited and reasonable then Investors are paid back as soon after the Fixed Term as is reasonably practical. If the delays are likely to be more than a couple of months, then the Board will decide whether or not to propose an extension to the Shareholders to agree via a Shareholders Resolution. Delays can have an impact on the final returns because of the increased finance costs and so sometimes the Board will propose an amendment to the Financial Proposal depending on the cause of the delay.
